The fabulous Italian-American swing pianist Sportiello joins Green and Brown for an evening of live jazz at The Maltings. Rossano was born in Vigevano, Italy, and graduated in classical piano aged only 16. Having transferred his allegiance to jazz, he became known as an exponent of the stride style and was compared to the late Ralph Sutton and Dave McKenna, but that understates his playing range. He can, as they say, do it all.
