Rossano drew a huge audience on his last visit, perhaps unsurprisingly since his visits to the UK have attracted increasing attention over recent years. His technique is phenomenal, drawn from the likes of Oscar Peterson and Art Tatum with a modern hard swinging, infectious groove that is unreservedly steeped in the tradition.
